I cannot say enough about the kindness of the staff at Volume Chevrolet in Forsyth, Georgia. We were traveling through Georgia, from Florida to Michigan, when we experienced car trouble. We had to pull off the highway immediately and found a gas station in the middle of nowhere. After a Google search, we learned that the closest Chevy dealer was back the way we’d just come, in Forsyth, Georgia. We called and spoke to the service manager, Mark Slaughter. He gave us the name and number of a wrecker, and said he’d call ahead for us. The wrecker arrived quickly, loaded up our vehicle, and two adults and a 70-pound golden retriever climbed into the cab for the drive to the dealership. It was nearly closing time on a Saturday. After describing the problem with the vehicle, the service manager said he thought it might be the transmission, or the lifter valves. Either problem would require serious time, money, and parts, and they wouldn’t be able to start until Monday. They offered to drive us, our dog, and all our luggage to a nearby hotel. It sounded like the repairs had the potential to be quite lengthy, and costly, and we needed to get back to Michigan to return to work. We asked about simply trading in the Yukon, as is, and purchasing something newer. Chaunce Fulton, Sales Consultant, listened carefully to what we need in a vehicle and found some options for us to look at. Meanwhile, the service manager (again, it was almost closing time), put the vehicle on the diagnostic computer. He discovered that one of the eight spark plug wires had come loose and was just hanging there, unconnected. We’d had some work done a few weeks before (not at a Chevy dealership), and apparently the mechanic hadn’t correctly snapped the spark plug cover into place. The service manager corrected the problem and came out to the showroom to tell us the good news. We were soon on our way back to Michigan. Before we left, the sales consultant checked the rush hour traffic going into Atlanta for us and told us which radio station to listen to for traffic updates. Dealerships sometimes get a bad rap for being impersonal and expensive. Volume Chevrolet is neither. Volume Chevrolet is run by good, kind, honest people, who treat others the way they would like their own families to be treated. If you need a new vehicle, or if your current vehicle needs work, go to Volume Chevrolet. You’ll be glad you did.

Amazing car buying experience! This was my first time at Volume Chevrolet and the experience was great. The sales team (Mr. David Henry and Mr. Vernon Knighton) was fantastic, as well as the finance and sales manager. From start to finish, everything was beyond expectation.
